Meet Our Head Nanny

Hello! My name is Beatriz. I am a 27-year-old Clinical Psychologist with specialist experience working with children, adolescents, and families within educational and developmental settings. My expertise lies in child development and neurodevelopmental disorders, and I bring a strong foundation in evidence-based, conscious, and respectful approaches to parenting and education.

I offer more than traditional childcare. I provide a calm, structured, and nurturing presence that supports children in feeling safe, understood, and emotionally secure. My approach integrates play, creativity, and developmental insight to encourage emotional regulation, confidence, and curiosity in a naturally supportive way.

I am experienced in caring for multiple children simultaneously and managing group dynamics with warmth, clear boundaries, and consistency. I aim to create environments where children feel both free to explore and gently guided within a secure and attentive framework.

I am fluent in Portuguese and English, with additional knowledge of Spanish, and I am currently learning German. I bring experience working across multicultural environments and adapt easily to diverse family contexts and communication styles.

I would be delighted to contribute to a family’s support system through Kinderlaken, offering thoughtful, high-quality childcare that fosters emotional wellbeing, development, and a positive daily experience for each child in my care.
